ABOUT MY ORDER

  • Can I modify my order?

As we are putting you in the designer seat for your custom made order we know that even experienced designers change their mind from time to time, for instance “make this shorter here”, “oh actually change the sleeve from a long to a short style”, “o actually I now want a pair of trousers and not a skirt”. We understand that something may inspire you whilst flicking through Instagram, Pinterest or even just seeing one of our previous designs from our portfolio. We recognized all of this so we are offering the chance for customers to make changes to their order up until we receive your fabric. You will be notified when we receive your fabric by email so please bare this in mind. Please contact our customer service team to make amendments before then. After 24 hours on receipt of us receiving your fabric the garments have already been cut and cannot be changed anymore.

  • How can I cancel my order?

If you have already paid for your order, you have 24 hours to contact our customer service team. We will then cancel the order and refund the paid amount.

  • Can I add an additional garment to my order?

Yes, of course you can. When sending in your fabrics please clearly label the fabric with, you’re unique reference code for EACH design. This is on your purchase confirmation sent out to you after you have completed your order so please take note of this. This is so we know what fabric is for what design once we receive it. Once you have placed your first item in the basket please go back through our order journey to repeat the same process again.

  • Why do we have to allow up to 2 hours for alterations?

Please note that we appreciate that we have inconvenienced you but to rectify the problem we will need to go through the process of us seeing our error, unpicking the seam, adding fabric if needed and sewing it back up. We would love that you can be patient with us to insure you are happy with the final product.

Fabric questions

  • How do I know how much fabric to send in for my order

Once you have placed your order, our smart fabric configurater will work out the amount of fabric required to make your design.  We will email you within 48 hours to advise you how much to send to us to start your order as well show you your confirmed design with any additional details you may have added. We would like it if you can please note how WIDE YOUR FABRIC is by measuring it along the CUT EDGE  of the fabric and NOT the clean edge otherwise known as the selvedge. Please see diagram attached  to assist you here.

We recommend you send via recorded delivery to insure your fabric gets to us in safe hands. Please keep an eye out for your emails.

  • Where do I buy fabric from?

Most people live close to fabric shops or market places that sell fabric or all ranges. But if your still unsure where to buy fabric please see a list of fabric shops recommended by us to visit to get your fabric . Please click here to view the fabric directoy for London area.

  • How do I know this fabric is suitable for my design?

Please visit our fabric help page so you get a better understanding what a good fabric quality is. It will inform you of what different fabric qualities will be suitable for what styles. The rule of thumb guildline we say here is 'if it looks and feels cheap, it probably is!' We can NOT make you look and feel a million pounds if' the fabric is wrong from the very start so please bare this in mind.  We will advise you that its not suitable for your choosen design and try our best to advise you of a better quality to use.

  • Caring for my garment after its been made?

As your garment is hand made and we get a wide variety of fabric qualities for each design, we advised to dry clean your items to preserve the longivity of the product. Dry cleaning is the gentlist form of cleaning your products. If your fabric quality is 100% cotton we do also advise that its ok to put your item in a 40 degree wash cycle as this to will also be ok. We recommend to iron on a cool iron setting.

  • What if I don't have enough fabric for my design?

Below elements are major contributors on how we work out how much fabric is needed for your bespoke order

    • SIZE eg more curve = more fabric consumption
    • LENGTH OF DESIGN ITEM eg a floor length dress will take more fabric than a mini length dress.
    • ADDITIONAL DESIGN FEATURE eg peplum or extra ruffle = more fabric consumption
    • PATTERN MATCHING eg matching up pattern pieces perfectly= more pattern consumption

If you already have a certain amount of fabric to hand and your design requires MORE THAN what you have then please buy more fabric or choose a shorter length design or sleeve option to accomidate the fabric amount you have. We will always email you advising you how much fabric your design will take so your well informed before hand.

  • What we wont accept in regards to your fabric!!

We understand that fabric has traveled far to get to your hands and will travel more to get to us. We can promise you that when we recieve your fabric, it will be treated with the upmost care. All we ask for is that you inspect your fabric FIRST before sending to us and advise us of the following. Please inspect for the following defects:

    • HOLES or DAMAGED FABRICS
    • SNAGS (loose threads)
    • FADDED PATTERN
    • SMELLS

We will inspect the fabric once recieved on our side and advise any problems before we start working on it. It is important to know of any defects before hand as this will affect the amount of fabric consumption and finish of your garment. If your fabric has an all over defect we will not continue with your order and send back your fabric.
